Advisory Council

The MIT Leadership Center Advisory Council comprises many of the most influential corporate, government, and nonprofit leaders of our day. Members of the Council serve as the Leadership Center's non-governing board, lending advice and support as both the Center and the practice of leadership evolve. Advisory Council members advance the School's global leadership activities and serve as ambassadors for the Center in the wider world.

Advisory Council members have the opportunity to

  • advise the Center's leadership on its mission and direction
  • participate in MIT Sloan's leadership programs as speakers and advisors
  • provide industry feedback to MIT researchers
  • join the teaching staff as executives in residence or professors of practice
  • serve as role models and mentors to MIT students
  • raise their company's management IQ with custom executive programs
  • take part in the development of late-breaking industry advances
  • receive recognition on the Center's website and in its newsletters and announcements, which reach managers worldwide.
